About the Super Lawyers Process
The Super Lawyers® organization is known nationwide for their meticulous attorney selection process. Each year, Super Lawyers gathers peer nominations for the top lawyers in each region and practice area, using a carefully monitored nomination and internal research process. Then, the Super Lawyers research department performs an independent assessment, measuring every nominee on more than 12 indicators of success. These indicators range from total verdicts and settlements acquired to the number of bar and professional activities.
Once they’ve narrowed it down to the final selectees, the lists are published for that year. Both the Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists acknowledge legal excellence and prowess within a given field, with the latter designation recognizing lawyers under 40.
